Week two has been very exciting. We had two days on our own and then Mike's Mom arrived to work her Grandma magic on Ingrid. As a bonus, his aunt also came up for a visit from Sedona. Several nights of reasonable sleep were had by all. Visit three to the doctor's office saw Ingrid peeing all over the examining table. I guess she's not dehydrated. Note to self: three extra diapers are not enough when traveling 5 minutes from the house for a brief doctor visit. She's gained back all the weight she lost in the first few days and then some. We took Ingrid up to Tesuque to spy on Cormac McCarthy's house and to have breakfast in a parking lot in Tesuque. The more mature members of the party had breakfast indoors. On Friday, we drove along the Pecos River and took a VERY short hike. Note the flower crown I have waited years to adorn a child of mine with. We also made a trip to the farmers market after which we headed up to the Plaza for a little tourist shopping. I waited on the sidewalk and Ingrid got her first taste of the fine 70s disco hits that accompanied the drag show going on in the Plaza as part of the day's Pride festivities.
