Morning in Tesuque (September 4)

We took Ingrid up to Tesuque for breakfast at the market and a stroll through the Shidoni sculpture garden. It is located in a former apple orchard, which meant bonus snacks for Ingrid!

Tyger! Tyger!

When Mama gave Ingrid this tiger, I had my doubts about its suitability as living room decor. Ingrid however, had (and has) no doubts. The first pictures are from an early morning wrestling match (10/26); the second from a manicure/pedicure session (Ingrid sits on the tiger, distracted by her new hair clips, and Renee snips away) (10/29).

SNOW! (October 25, 2009)

I woke to Ingrid saying "nyuh, nyuh, nyuh" in the baby monitor. I got up to fetch her and sure enough, everything was covered with a couple inches of snow. How she knew, I don't know. Her only experience with snow so far this year was a light dusting last week. On this day however, she discovered just what great eating it makes. Especially if it is mixed with some dirt, leaves and sticks. Maybe that makes it "health food".
