Hanging at Home

Ingrid spends the weekend tasting stickers, playing with blocks, crawling and drooling. I spend the weekend lying on the floor in pjs. Please note Ingrid's fine pants that Mama made for her. Her thighs really don't fit in there any more. I had to take them off her because she couldn't move.

Swimming - January

In January, Ingrid and I started a swimming class. She enjoys being in the water and especially enjoys drinking the water and sucking on the skirt of her suit. She now has a skirt-less suit. (photos to come) I marvel at how similar most baby girl swimsuits are to old lady suits in that they all have skirts or dresses attached. At least they don't have giant molded breasts. After class, Ingrid falls right asleep.

Back Home - January

Ingrid returned from her Michigan trip very inspired by her agile cousin Annika's antics. She mastered crawling, standing holding on to furniture and tiger riding shortly after our return. She promptly moved on to standing without holding onto anything. Yikes. It's time for safety gates and some carpeting for our tile floors. She also enjoyed a visit from Savannah, Renee's daughter, who had a day off school. Savannah regularly calls Ingrid on the phone and sings "the wheels on the bus". Ingrid holds onto the coffee table and dances.

Xmas Part III Midland

Ingrid had a great time in Midland, wrestling with cousins, gnawing and sharing string, tasting plastic lettuce and cheese, rolling around on an air mattress and visiting Santa's deserted lair after Christmas.

Xmas Part II Ann Arbor

Ingrid had a magnificent time in Ann Arbor, discovering the wonders of string, bathing in the sink, opening presents, tasting blocks, learning to drive and more...
