Off to the Park

April 28. Ingrid was not so happy in the morning before her nap. By the time the afternoon came around though she was quite content to ride over to the park. Unfortunately she tinkled in her pants, which is why she's sliding in her diaper. She was really quite fearless. She would just jump down the slide. Yes, there is video. Just not on the blog.

Upon our return from the park, Ingrid got some dry shorts to wear and hunted for cheerios in the bottom of her exersaucer. She has an exciting life, don't you think?

New Hairstyle

Renee fixed Ingrid's hair into something a little more girlie than her usual mohawk. Mike is not a fan of the mohawk. If her hair is sticking up when he "comes on duty", he'll take her to the bathroom and wet it down. These pics are from April 22. Starting Mid-April, perhaps to celebrate turning 1o months old, Ingrid completely abandonned the pacified in favor of her thumb. Which is now her favorite thing. Distant second? Buttons. This morning when I pulled her out the stroller after our morning walk, I discovered that the bottom of her right pant leg was SOAKED. Because she had been sucking on a button near the hem at her ankle. Well, at least she's flexible. She has also figured out how to get her velcro-ed shoes off. I might have to find some of those old-timey shoes that require button hooks. But, the last thing we need is more buttons.

April (snow) Showers, Pajama Flowers

April 10 it snowed. Jammie pics are from April 19-20. These jammies have now been retired. As you can see they are bursting at the belly.

I took this batch to load up my netbook with Ingrid pics for my trip to LA, since fair housing advocates from throughout Southern California were waiting to see her. I'm not sure she cared much that I was gone. Which is good. Now (May) she is totally crazy about Mike. When she sees him she shrieks with delight. I feel that way too. ;-)

Funny Face

On April 8, Ingrid was being particularly impatient while waiting for dinner. Or maybe it was just the fact that i was taking way too many pictures. Final shot is of Ingrid enjoying her beloved hippo. At one point in time it was MY Xmas present from Mike. I suppose everything is hers at this point.
