Ingrid's head isn't wobbly and with assistance, she can sit up, so it was time for the Bumbo, which allows her to join us for dinner and provides a different view on the world. An even more exciting view is provided by the ride on my shoulders. She always has a fierce grab on my ears or my hair, just like a baby chimp.

Getting off the ground
Ingrid's head isn't wobbly and with assistance, she can sit up, so it was time for the Bumbo, which allows her to join us for dinner and provides a different view on the world. An even more exciting view is provided by the ride on my shoulders. She always has a fierce grab on my ears or my hair, just like a baby chimp.

That green thing is AMAZING!! Do they come in adult sizes?...
Funny you should say that. Ingrid's former nanny Angie and I had discussed the merits of such a chair for old folks homes. There is a children's potty version of it which would also be of use for the oldsters. I also thought it would be nice to put wheels on it so that the parents could drive it using a remote. Such a thing would never be approved by the Consumer Products Safety Commission.
She's just inches away from that ketchup! Go Ingrid!
