We celebrated the Fourth by giving Ingrid her first real bath. She liked being in the water, but wasn't so sure about being washed. Lesson learned: do it a little faster and it can be completed while she is still happy. We were too busy to take photos during... but here a couple after shots showing Ingrid's fluffy clean hair naturally arranged in a faux-hawk. The bath was prompted by Mike's observation that "her hair looks greasy". A few days after the Fourth, we found Ingrid arranging herself as the Statue of Liberty. In her defense, she doesn't know about FISA.

I'd give Nate his bath every day at the same time and give him his little baby massage as per the instructions from our doula, and he always liked his baths. I quit the massage when he just wanted to crawl away and explore on the bed. Nice lobster sheets, btw.
