A few days before Ingrid's birthday, it seemed a good idea to me to break out some dress up things for Ingrid. The wig is one that Mama, aka Oma, bought in Saugatuck back the 80s. I'm a little amazed that these pics aren't all blurry because Renee and I were laughing hysterically the entire time. Ingrid was actually quite happy in this get up, until the very end. She especially liked having the dealie-boppers on her head. Once she figured out how to take them off though, she preferred chewing on them.

Wiggy! Robert Smith has nothing on Ms. Ingrid! The spangly belt is a nice touch. Nate just went through a phase of sitting on his tricycle wearing my old hat as a "helmet" and my belt, and gazing at his reflection in the mirror. He has to be in just the right mood for dress-up, though.
